DYNAMICS OF RESPONSE OF A SENSOR BASED ON A NANOSTRUCTURED TIN DIOXIDE LAYER EXPOSED TO THE ISOPROPANOL VAPORS

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов, 2021
Nanostructured gas-sensitive tin dioxide films have been synthesized by sol-gel technology. A conductivity vs temperature dependence of a gas sensor into atmosphere of synthetic air has been investigated.

Emerging Next Generation Solar Cells Route to High Efficiency and Low Cost [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Generation of clean energy is one of the main challenges of the 21st century. Solar energy is the most abundantly available renewable energy source which would be supplying more than 50 of the global electricity demand in 2100.

Atomistic Descriptions of Gas-Surface Interactions on Tin Dioxide

open access: yesChemosensors, 2021
Historically, in gas sensing literature, the focus on “mechanisms” has been on oxygen species chemisorbed (ionosorbed) from the ambient atmosphere, but what these species actually represent and the location of the adsorption site on the surface of the ...

Low Temperature Epitaxial Growth of High Permittivity Rutile \(TiO_2\) on \(SnO_2\) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Thin films of high dielectric constant \(\kappa \sim 68\) rutile phase titanium dioxide \(TiO_2\) were grown epitaxially on tin dioxide \(SnO_2\) substrates, which are a low cost, more abundant alternative to ruthenium electrodes used previously.

Thermal Transport of Tin Dioxide Nanowires

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2020
Abstract Temperature dependent thermal conductivities of individual Tin Dioxide (SnO2) nanowires have been studied via a suspended microdevice method. Thermal conductivity of SnO2 nanowires is found to be less than 20% of the bulk value in the whole measurement temperature range and the peak shifts to a higher temperature about 110 K ...

The Influence of the Precursor Type and of the Substrate on the SPD Deposited TiO2 Photocatalytic Thin Films

open access: yesAnnals of West University of Timisoara: Physics, 2018
Photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants from wastewater using titanium dioxide is recognized as an efficient process. To be feasible, this process needs to be solar- or visible light -activated, but, due to its wide band gap energy, titanium ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
