BRD8 Guards the Pluripotent State by Sensing and Maintaining Histone Acetylation
Advanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, February 3, 2025.Epigenetic control is a critical process required to control cell type. However, the mechanisms remain incompletely understood. This study reveals how BRD8 regulates epigenetic control in embryonic stem cells, blocking the conversion of primed EpiSCs to naive ESCs by maintaining histone acetylation.
