Pharmacology — Tissue Distribution
2000The fluoroquinolones are antibiotics with good pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties and broad spectrum of activity, resulting in excellent therapeutic results. Moxifloxacin penetrates well into most body tissues and fluids. It attains high levels in the various compartments of the pulmonary tract, including the alveolar lining fluid, the ...

Tissue distribution of exaprolol in rat
European Journal of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, 1985The disposition of the beta adrenoceptor blocking drug 1-(2-cyclohexylphenoxy)-3-isopropylamino-2-propanol, exaprolol, in organs of the rat has been studied. After i.v. administration of 3H-exaprolol a transient extremely high accumulation of the drug in lungs was observed with a peak of 7.7% of dose/g 30 min post-administration.

Distribution of sirolimus in rat tissue
Clinical Biochemistry, 1997To examine the distribution of sirolimus (SRL, rapamycin), an immunosuppressive macrolide antibiotic, in the tissues of adult male Wistar-Furth rats following continuous intravenous infusion (CIVI) and repeated daily peroral gavage (PO).Animals received 14-day courses of SRL by either CIVI (0.04-0.4 mg/kg/day) or PO (0.4-1.6 mg/kg/day) administration ...

Pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of crotonoside
Xenobiotica, 20171. Crotonoside is a bioactive ingredient from Croton Herba with a strong antitumour activity. This study aimed to develop a highly sensitive and selective high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method to quantify crotonoside in biological samples for pharmacokinetics and distribution studies. 2.

The distribution of perforin in normal tissues
Immunology Letters, 1991We describe the production of monoclonal antibodies to murine and human forms of the lymphocyte pore-forming protein (perforin, PFP, or cytolysin), a major granule-localized cytolytic mediator of CTL and NK cells. Antibodies were raised against both murine perforin purified from a CTL line, and human perforin expressed in bacteria as a fusion protein ...

Distribution of Cimetidine in Postmortem Tissues
Journal of Forensic Sciences, 1984Abstract The postabsorptive distribution of cimetidine is described. Assays by high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) of postmortem samples of cerebrospinal fluid, serum, and solid tissues were used to determine pharmacokinetic parameters as well as mean tissue: serum concentration (T:S) ratios in seven patients with renal and liver ...
