Neuroinflammation in GAD65 Antibody‐Associated Epilepsy Measured Using [18F]DPA‐714 PET/MRI
ABSTRACT The timing for initiating immunotherapy in patients with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibody‐associated epilepsy is a challenge. We used the translocator protein radioligand [18F]DPA‐714 and PET to evaluate brain microglial activation.

Antideoxyribonuclease B titers in psoriasis
Psoriatic patients were examined for serologic evidence of streptococcal infections by using antideoxyribonuclease B (ADB), which has been shown to be a more sensitive screening tool than antistreptolysin O (ASO) for detecting such evidence in other clinical circumstances.

Immunogenicity and tolerability of an MF59-adjuvanted, egg-derived, A/H1N1 pandemic influenza vaccine in children 6-35 months of age [PDF]
Background: Vaccines against pandemic A/H1N1 influenza should provide protective immunity in children, because they are at greater risk of disease than adults.

Effect of Host Genotype on Symbiont Titer in the Aphid—Buchnera Symbiosis
Obligate nutritional symbioses require balance between the energetic needs of the host and the symbiont. The resident symbiont population size within a host may have major impacts on host fitness, as both host and symbiont consume and supply metabolites ...

Objective Antinuclear antibodies (ANAs) are present at high titers in 2% of the general population, but their clinical significance in individuals without an autoimmune (AI) disease is not known. We tested the hypothesis that the presence of a high ANA titer in non‐AI conditions is associated with disease.

High titer heterologous rhamnolipid production
Heterologous mono-rhamnolipid production by Pseudomonas putida KT2440 pSynPro8oT_rhlAB using glucose as the single carbon source was characterized in fed-batch bioreactor cultivations. For the described experiments, a defined mineral salt medium was used, and a two phase glucose feeding profile was applied, which yielded a final rhamnolipid ...

Objective Relapsing polychondritis (RP) is a rare disease defined by recurrent cartilaginous inflammation. Anti–collagen II (Col2) antibodies have been proposed as a diagnostic biomarker for RP, but their performance characteristics are not well defined.
