Accelerated Electro-Conversion of a Nickel Coordination Complex for Hybrid Water Electrolysis. [PDF]
A nickel coordination complex pre‐catalyst undergoes rapid electrochemical activation to form highly active nanosheets that enable efficient and stable urea electrolysis. Structural evolution and the operating mechanism are revealed through in situ spectroscopy, and practical viability is demonstrated in an electrolyzer.

Self‐assembly and organization in solution are demonstrated to be critical in understanding dif‐ fusion in mixtures containing an ionic liquid. A key discontinu‐ ity is seen on increasing the car‐ bon chain length from hexyl to octyl, consistent with the onset of structure in these mixtures.
