Broad‐Purpose Solutions of N‐Chlorotaurine: A Convenient Synthetic Approach and Comparative Evaluation of Stability and Antimicrobial Activity

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Solutions of N‐chlorotaurine (NCT) are effective microbiocidal agents with a broad spectrum of pharmacological activity and outstanding tolerability. The main problem limiting their medical use is their instability, which is generally inherent in solutions of all chlorine‐active compounds.
