EEG Dynamics in Children Before, During and After General Anesthesia. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Background Age‐specific EEG signatures during anesthesia are described in pediatrics, and perioperative monitoring is increasingly advocated; yet most indices and algorithms derive from adult data and may not generalize to early development. Aims The purpose of this study was to characterize perioperative frontal EEGs in young children younger

Propofol: A Medication That Changed Pediatric Anesthesia Practice. [PDF]
ABSTRACT The introduction of propofol changed our understanding of pediatric anesthesia pharmacology, research approaches for intravenous drug study, and led to infusion pump development for the maintenance phase of anesthesia. The story of propofol development provides a blueprint for other intravenous drug development.

Pediatric Complications of Automated Tympanostomy Tube Systems: MAUDE Analysis and Systematic Review. [PDF]
Automated tympanostomy tube delivery systems (TDS) were developed to streamline in‐office procedures, but their effectiveness remains uncertain due to challenges with achieving adequate anesthesia and immobility in pediatric patients. While postprocedural complication rates were comparable to traditional tympanostomy tubes, concerns regarding ...

Landscape of Research on Accounting Scope 3 Emissions: A Review of Methodologies and Data
ABSTRACT Scope 3 emissions have been proposed as a critical metric for evaluating corporate carbon footprint, identifying emission sources, and developing mitigation solutions. Yet, widespread corporate reporting of Scope 3 emissions remains limited, highlighting a critical gap in both research and practice.

Commerce, coalitions, and global value chains: Coordinated and collective lobbying on trade
Abstract Global value chains (GVCs) have connected firms in complex networks within and across national borders. However, political economy models often assume away production linkages and thus fail to explain pervasive and diverse trade coalitions cutting across industries and firms. I develop a GVC‐centered framework where production linkages through

Defining the geographical level of competition: a taxonomy of industry tradability
Abstract The paper develops a taxonomy of industry tradability to define the geographical level at which competition takes place. First, it creates a novel dataset that combines production and international trade data for both goods and services industries, defined at a detailed (3‐digit) level of industry aggregation for 15 European countries.
