Comparison of Clinical Results between Bilateral TKA and Unilateral TKA

今回我々は両側罹患例に対して一期的両側TKAを施行し，その術後成績，その他問題点について片側TKAと比較検討した．当院においてH18年4月よりH21年5月の期間，手術をおこなった142症例（両側51例102膝，片側91例91膝）を対象とした．一期的両側TKAは片側TKAと術後成績に差がなく致死的合併症も認められなかったので有用であると考えられた．ただ，対象に高齢者が多いので術前に患者側とのインファームド・コンセントを十分におこない，手術スタッフや他科との綿密な打ち合わせ，特に循環器科や脳神経外科とのtie upが必要である．
