Lithium fluoride TLD dose quality [PDF]

Lithium Fluoride (LiF) Thermoluminescent Dosimeters (TLD's) have been used extensively as a diagnostic in radiographic facilities. For over three years we have used precision-calibrated TLD's in our facility. Said facility consists of two radiographic sources, each with a dose rating of 4-Rad at 1 m.

Stabilizing Magnesium Anodes in Rechargeable Magnesium Batteries via Fluorinated Cyclic Ether Electrolyte Additive

A fluorinated cyclic ether, FDOL, is shown to stabilize Mg metal anodes by tuning Mg2+ solvation of the G2 electrolyte. The G2‐FDOL electrolyte suppresses passivation and thick, diffusion‐blocking Mg deposits, enabling more uniform Mg plating/stripping and sustained interfacial reactions.

Unstable slow oscillations couple with epileptogenic fast‐rhythm bistability in sleep‐related epilepsy: A stereoelectroencephalographic study

We examined the functional relationship between large‐scale δ‐band phase synchrony and local epileptogenic β–γ‐band amplitude bistability during NREM sleep. Increased synchrony and strong bistability characterized the epileptogenic zone, with strongest effects during N2 sleep, when seizures most frequently occur.
