Measurement and modeling of diffuse ultraviolet radiation: A review
Photochemistry and Photobiology, Volume 102, Issue 5, Page 1048-1059, September/October 2026.Solar UV radiation consists of direct and diffuse UV components. The diffuse component contributes to the exposure received by humans and to the risk of skin cancer and sun‐related eye disorders. This review aims to determine future research directions for the measurement and modeling of diffuse solar UV radiation.

Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 16, 28 August 2026.Abstract Aerosol‐cloud interactions (aerosol indirect effects) are the most significant source of uncertainties in the effective radiative forcing (ERF) due to aerosols which can act as cloud condensation nuclei (CCN). Uncertainties in the indirect effect can result from systematic uncertainties in aerosol water uptake (hygroscopicity).
