A Stacked Ensemble Multi‐Label Model for Predicting Co‐Occurring Microvascular and Macrovascular Complications in Type 2 Diabetes

open access: yesChronic Diseases and Translational Medicine, EarlyView.
Feature importance for predicting multiple diabetes complications based on a Stacking‐Classifier Chain model. Abstract Background Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) leads to severe microvascular and macrovascular complications. Traditional single‐label prediction models fail to capture their co‐occurring nature.

Cadmium concentrations in tobacco and tobacco smoke

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 1983
The amount of cadmium in tobacco depends on the variety and origin of the plant as well as on the analytical method used to determine cadmium. In the literature, cadmium concentrations in tobacco of between 0.5 and 5 ppm are reported. Modern German cigarette tobacco contains about 0.5-1.5 micrograms cadmium/cigarette.

Charge State Influence on Stability and Isomerism in Dehydrogenated PAHs: Insights from Anthracene, Acridine, and Phenazine

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 26, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
The ionization of anthracene, acridine, and phenazine has been explored, along with the removal of one and two hydrogen atoms, to provide valuable information for astrochemists and to understand the behavior of the resulting structures and their electronic reorganization. Abstract In this study, we systematically explored the stability and isomerism of
