Time-resolved spectroscopy in the Rijnhuizen Tokamak Project tokamak

Abstract At the Rijnhuizen 'rokamak Project tokamak spectrometers are used to diagnose the velocity distribution and abundances of impurity ions. Quantities can be measured as a function of time, and the temporal resolution depends on the line emissivity and can be as good as 0.2 ms for the strongest lines.

Equilibrium and stability of tokamaks

AbstractAxisymmetric, ideal MHD configurations with steady flow are computed by the finite‐element method. Rectangular elements with four to nine nodes are used. The equilibria are obtained in flux co‐ordinates by mesh rearrangement. The properties of the linearized motions around an equilibrium state are studied by a normal‐mode analysis.

Density fluctuations in the TORTUR Tokamak

Microislands and transport in tokamaks
