Time-resolved spectroscopy in the Rijnhuizen Tokamak Project tokamak

Abstract At the Rijnhuizen 'rokamak Project tokamak spectrometers are used to diagnose the velocity distribution and abundances of impurity ions. Quantities can be measured as a function of time, and the temporal resolution depends on the line emissivity and can be as good as 0.2 ms for the strongest lines.

Plasma Equilibrium in Tokamaks

We have presented a theoretical description of toroidal equilibrium which involves the solution of the Grad-Shafranov equation and a careful choice of the parameters. The experimental counterpart is the production of accurate equilibrium data by means of all available diagnostics. To get agreement between these two is a long-term iterative process. The
