STL‐Decomposition Functional Deep Learning Ensemble Models for Hydro Power Forecasting

This study proposes a hybrid ensemble framework combining STL, FDA, and DL for short‐term hydroelectric forecasting. Applied to hourly production data from the Edea hydropower plant, the approach achieves high accuracy, with the seasonal–random ensemble yielding the best performance.
