The Effect of Iron Deficiency Anemia on the Morphology–Voltage–P Wave Duration (MVP) Risk Score

Changes observed in P‐wave morphology, voltage, and duration in anemic patients may indicate left atrial dysfunction and an increased risk of atrial fibrillation. The MVP risc score is an easily calculable parameter that indicates the presence of left atrial remodeling and an increased risk of atrial fibrillation in patients with iron deficiency anemia.
