Snapshot Projection Optical Tomography
We present a plenoptic microscopy configuration for 3D snapshot imaging, which is dual telecentric and can directly record true projection images corresponding with different viewing angles. It also allows blocking high-angle stray rays without sacrificing the light collection efficiency.

Noninvasive, In Vivo Assessment of Mouse Retinal Structure Using Optical Coherence Tomography [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a novel method of retinal in vivo imaging. In this study, we assessed the potential of OCT to yield histology-analogue sections in mouse models of retinal degeneration.

Gradient optical diffraction tomography
Optical diffraction tomography (ODT) reconstructs the 3D refractive index (RI) distribution of transparent microsamples using angle-scanned holographic complex field measurements, enabling quantitative and label-free 3D imaging.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Optical coherence tomography applied to investigations of optical properties of paintings
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a fast 3D scanning Michelson interferometer normally applied to biomedical applications has recently been applied to art related subjects.

Fibre optic fizeau intererometer for optical coherence tomography [PDF]
The aim of the project was to develop the Fizeau interferometer configuration to take advantage of the benefits derived from its “downlead insensitivity” to temperature and polarisation fading.

Imaging fibre bundles for Fizeau-based optical coherence tomography [PDF]
An OCT system incorporating a coherent fibre imaging bundle is described. Fibres are accessed sequentially by a beam focused onto the input face of the bundle, allowing 2D or 3D images to be acquired using point detection.

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
