Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Remote Photoplethysmography-Based Deepfake Detection: A Systematic Review

open access: yesIEEE Access
The rapid evolution of deepfake generation techniques based on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), autoencoders, and diffusion models has produced highly realistic facial forgeries that increasingly evade visual artifact detectors.

Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Oxygen‐Tunnel Indium Tin Oxide Vertical Channel Transistors with Enhanced Current Density and Reliability for Monolithic 3D Compute‐In‐Memory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection

TRANSACTIONS ON IMAGE PROCESSING 1 Optimizing a Tone Curve for Backward-Compatible High Dynamic Range Image and Video Compression

open access: yes, 2014
—For backward compatible high dynamic range (HDR) video compression, the HDR sequence is reconstructed by inverse tone-mapping a compressed low dynamic range (LDR) version of the original HDR content. In this paper, we show that the appropriate choice of

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

A HDR Image Compression Algorithm Based on Non-Linear Masking

open access: yes, 2010
High Dynamic Range Images, with the capability of reproducing the wide lightness range of natural scenes, has been widely used in many areas. But the restrictions of device capability make it necessary to implement tone compression for displaying HDR ...

PATHOGENESIS OF TUNNEL NEUROPATHIES IN CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY, FOOT DEFORMITIES AND JOINT CONTRACTURES

open access: yesНеонатологія, хірургія та перинатальна медицина
Tunnel neuropathy is one of the complications of the clinical course in children with cerebral palsy. According to various sources, neuropathies of the lower extremities account for 65% to 80%, and those of the upper extremities for 12% to 20%. However,

Regulated Ion‐Diffusion Hydrogels for Subtle and Multimodal Temperature‐Strain Sensing in Wound Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.
