MicroRNAs Regulation in Osteogenic Differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are a kind of pluripotent stem cell with the potential of self-renewal and multidirectional differentiation. They can be obtained from a variety of tissues and can differentiate into a variety of cell types under different ...

Cell Calcification Models and Their Implications for Medicine and Biomaterial Research
Calcification, is the process by which the tissues containing minerals are formed, occurring during normal physiological processes, or in pathological conditions. Here, it is aimed to give a comprehensive overview of the range of cell models available, and the approaches taken by these models, highlighting when and how methodological divergences arise,

Regulation of osteogenic differentiation under hypoxia by EphrinB2/EphB4 in MC3T3-E1 cells
Objective To investigate the effect of erythropoietin producing hepatocyte kinase receptor ligand B2-erythropoietin producing hepatocyte kinase receptor B4 (EphrinB2/EphB4) on the osteogenic differentiation of MC3T3-E1 cells in a hypoxic environment to ...

Downregulation of FGF Signaling by Spry4 Overexpression Leads to Shape Impairment, Enamel Irregularities, and Delayed Signaling Center Formation in the Mouse Molar. [PDF]
FGF signaling plays a critical role in tooth development, and mutations in modulators of this pathway produce a number of striking phenotypes. However, many aspects of the role of the FGF pathway in regulating the morphological features and the mineral ...

Biocompatible Multifunctional Polymeric Material for Mineralized Tissue Adhesion
A multifunctional thiol‐ene resin system is developed that provides a strong adhesive interface with dentin while maintaining biocompatibility with dental pulp cells. The addition of an acidic monomer to a triacrylate‐trithiol‐based resin achieves over 10 MPa shear bond strength by reinforcing the hybrid interface.

General tooth boundary conditions for equation free modelling [PDF]
We are developing a framework for multiscale computation which enables models at a ``microscopic'' level of description, for example Lattice Boltzmann, Monte Carlo or Molecular Dynamics simulators, to perform modelling tasks at ``macroscopic'' length ...
