ABSTRACT This osteobiography explores the life history of an adolescent who lived during the early‐mid Bronze Age (c. 1000–700 bce) and was buried at Nyaung'gan, a site in north‐central Myanmar. Burial 3b had multiple skeletal lesions, and their bones were covered in well‐remodeled subperiosteal new bone.

Synthesis, modification, and chlorhexidine loading of polymer modified‐HM‐HAP particles: In vivo antibacterial analysis and cell cytotoxicity assessment

This study presents the synthesis of hollow mesoporous hydroxyapatite (HM‐HAP) particles modified with different weights PEG and PEI. Chlorhexidine was loaded onto the particles. SEM analysis confirmed no significant morphological changes. Antibacterial activity was tested in vitro and in vivo using mouse oral bacteria, demonstrating promising results.

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review

Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.
