Frequency and Relevance of MYD88L256P Mutation in Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy and Multifocal Motor Neuropathy

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neurology, Volume 32, Issue 8, August 2025.
MYD88L256P mutation was searched in 79 CIDP, 35 MMN, and 57 controls. It was more frequent in MMN (34%) and CIDP (19%) than in controls (2%). It suggests new pathophysiological hypotheses and new therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory neuropathies.

Dpysl4 Is Involved in Tooth Germ Morphogenesis through Growth Regulation, Polarization and Differentiation of Dental Epithelial Cells

open access: yesInternational Journal on Biological Sciences, 2013
Dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 4 (Dpysl4) is a known regulator of hippocampal neuron development. Here, we report that Dpysl4 is involved in growth regulation, polarization and differentiation of dental epithelial cells during tooth germ ...

Expression of hMLH1 and hMSH2 proteins in ameloblastomas and tooth germs

open access: yesMedicina Oral Patología Oral y Cirugia Bucal, 2018
Mismatch repair proteins (MMRPs) are a group of nuclear enzymes that participate in the repair of base mismatches that occur during DNA replication in all proliferating cells. The most studied MMRPs are hMSH2 and hMLH1, which are known to be highly expressed in normal tissues.
