Top Quark Properties

open access: yes, 2008
In this document we present several recent (July 2008) results from studies of the top quark properties at the CDF and D0 experiments at the Tevatron.

Optimal Spin Basis in Polarized Photon Linear Colliders [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We analyze the spin correlations of the top quark pairs produced at Photon Linear Colliders. We employ the circular polarized photon beams and general spin basis for the top quark pair.

Cerebral oxygen extraction across different exercise intensities: Role of arterial PCO2${P_{{\mathrm{C}}{{\mathrm{O}}_2}}}$

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Stability in cerebral oxygen extraction fraction (OEF) is typically determined by alterations in cerebral blood flow (CBF). At rest, arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2${P_{{\mathrm{aC}}{{\mathrm{O}}_2}}}$) and OEF exhibit a strong inverse relationship owing to the powerful influence of PaCO2${P_{{\mathrm{aC}}{{\mathrm{O}}_2}}}$

Top quarks and flavor physics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1995
Because of the top quark's very large mass, about 175~GeV, it now provides the best window into flavor physics. Thus, pair--production of top quarks at the Tevatron Collider is the best probe of this physics until the Large Hadron Collider turns on in the next century.

Spin Correlations in Top-Quark Pair Production at $e^+e^-$ Colliders [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
We show that top-quark pairs are produced in an essentially unique spin configuration in polarized $e^+e^-$ colliders at all energies above the threshold region.

Running economy and lower‐limb anthropometry in adult male Kenyan and Danish middle‐ and long‐distance runners and in untrained adolescents

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Kenyan athletes have dominated competitive middle‐ and long‐distance running for more than half a century, a phenomenon suggested to be attributable, at least in part, to superior running economy. Given that lower‐leg anthropometry is an important determinant of running economy, a key contributor to the athletic performance of Kenyan runners ...

Nonperturbative fragmentation of the top quark [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1991
By the use of a simple phenomenological string model, the energy lost by the top quark through nonperturbative fragmentation effects before its weak decay is computed. This energy lost is in first approximation proportional to the rate between the decay time and the hadronization time of the top as measured in the center-of-mass frame of the top and ...

Top quark physics with the CMS experiment

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
An overview of recent top quark measurements in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 and 8 TeV in data collected with the CMS experiment at the LHC, using a data sample collected during the years 2011 and 2012 is presented.

Search for W′ bosons decaying to a top and a bottom quark at s=13TeV in the hadronic final state

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2021
A search is performed for W′ bosons decaying to a top and a bottom quark in the all-hadronic final state, in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13TeV.
