Configuration‐Encoded Cell Alignment by Light‐Gated Silicon Photovoltaic Microcell Arrays
Light‐gated silicon photovoltaic microcells convert pulsed illumination into localized electrical cues. Arranging otherwise similar microcells into four‐lobed, six‐lobed, or circular patterns directs fibroblasts into corresponding local arrangements without wired stimulation.

Analyzing Remote Sensing Data in R: The landsat Package [PDF]
Research and development on atmospheric and topographic correction methods for multispectral satellite data such as Landsat images has far outpaced the availability of those methods in geographic information systems software.

Emergence of a Hexagonal Fe2S2 Single Layer Without a Bulk Counterpart via Phase Transformation
Upon annealing, single‐layer Mackinawite iron sulfide transforms into a previously unknown hexagonal Fe2S2${\rm Fe}_2{\rm S}_2$ phase with β$\beta$‐CuI structure. STM, LEED, and first‐principles calculations identify the structure and show that electronic correlations and magnetic order are important for its stability.

Evaluation of Satellite Image Correction Methods Caused by Differential Terrain Illumination
The problem due to differential terrain illumination on satellite imagery is experienced by most of areas which are on mountainous terrain. This may cause variations in reflectance of similar ground features which lead to a misclassification of land ...

The Added Value of Stratified Topographic Correction of Multispectral Images
Satellite images in mountainous areas are strongly affected by topography. Different studies demonstrated that the results of semi-empirical topographic correction algorithms improved when a stratification of land covers was carried out first.

The APTES linker establishes a permanent interfacial dipole, reducing the work function of n‐GaN from 3.55 to 3.29 eV. This strengthens the built‐in electric field, significantly accelerating hole extraction to drive the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Ultimately, this tailored charge‐separation architecture achieves a remarkable 4.78‐fold enhancement

Magnetoactive Hydrogels to Probe Curvature‐Directed Endothelial Cell Mechanosensing
This work establishes a platform to investigate local curvature as a regulator of endothelial mechanosensing independent of shear stress. Magnetoactive hydrogels enable on‐demand curvature of endothelial monolayers to reproduce tortuosity quantified by clinically established metrics.
