Advances in topographic correction methods for optical remote sensing imageries
Steep terrain produces serious topographic effects on remote sensing satellite imageries. Serious topographic effects cause difficulty in classifying vegetation species and retrieving key essential climate variables (such as albedo, Leaf Area Index, and ...

Stepwise dual‐side functionalization creates covalent Janus graphene with chemically and electrostatically asymmetric interfaces. The resulting nonadditive surface‐potential response and pronounced charge‐transport modulation demonstrate a versatile route for tailoring the electronic properties of graphene.

A Critical Call for Mechanistic Investigations of Metal‐Bacteria Interactions
It is well established that the antibacterial properties of metals have tremendous importance for bioengineering applications. What is not as appreciated, however, is the reproducibility crisis in this field's vast literature. In this perspective, we highlight this reproducibility problem, discuss its sources, and suggest solutions towards focused ...

Mechanically‐Driven Reconstruction of Lithium Metal for Stable All‐Solid‐State Batteries
Mechanical reconstruction reorganizes commercial Li from surface to bulk by refining surface topography, renewing the native passivation layer, and establishing a strongly (200)‐preferred texture. Native‐passivation renewal promotes interfacial Li‐ion transport, whereas texture homogenization regulates the spatial distribution of Li flux and supports ...
