Interpretability and Representability of Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Topology, and Topological Spectral Theory for Real-World Data. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Intell Discov
This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...

A topology on categorical algebras

open access: yesFilomat, 2022
On categorical algebras, we define an idempotent filter as an analogous version of Gabriel?s. We also construct topologies on 2-crossed modules of algebras and categorical algebras.

Double multipliers on topological algebras

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1999
The main purpose of this paper is to investigate some topological properties of the double multiplier algebra on a topological algebra. Let Md(A) be the double multiplier algebra on a topological algebra A, and let u and s be the uniform and strong ...

An application of computer algebra to algebraic topology

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1990
In this work we study a certain formal power series that is of considerable interest to algebraic topologists, the [p k ]-series. We define the series in a purely combinatorial way and indicate its usefulness. Then, by using computer algebra techniques, we compute it up to a high coefficient.

On a class of topological algebras [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 1970
A locally convex algebra \(A\) is \(A\)-convex if the topology for \(A\) is defined by a family of seminorms such that for each seminorm \(p\) and each \(y\) in \(A\), there is a real number \(M\) for which \(p(yx) \leq M p(x)\) and \(p(xy) \leq M p(x)\) for all \(x\) in \(A\). A locally \(m\)-convex algebra is an \(A\)-convex algebra.

Topological tensor invariants and the current algebra approach: analysis of 196 nonleptonic two-body decays of single and double charm baryons – a review

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We shed new light on the standard current algebra approach to the nonleptonic two-body decays of single and double heavy charm baryons. By making use of the completeness relation for the flavor wave functions of the ground state baryon $$\mathbf{20 ...

Topological distances and geometry over the symmetrized Omega algebra

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2020
The aim of this paper is to study some topological distances properties, semidendrites and convexity on th symmetrized omega algebra. Furthermore, some properties and exponents on the symmetrized omega algebra are introduced.

A cone-theoretic barycenter existence theorem [PDF]

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science
We show that every continuous valuation on a locally convex, locally convex-compact, sober topological cone $\mathfrak{C}$ has a barycenter. This barycenter is unique, and the barycenter map $\beta$ is continuous, hence is the structure map of a $\mathbf

A one-dimensional theory for Higgs branch operators

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We use supersymmetric localization to calculate correlation functions of half-BPS local operators in 3d N = 4 $$ \mathcal{N}=4 $$ superconformal field theories whose Lagrangian descriptions consist of vectormultiplets coupled to hypermultiplets.
