Eleven dimensional supergravity as a constrained topological field theory [PDF]
We describe a new first-order formulation of D=11 supergravity which shows that that theory can be understood to arise from a certain topological field theory by the imposition of a set of local constraints on the fields, plus a lagrange multiplier term.

Excitations in strict 2-group higher gauge models of topological phases
We consider an exactly solvable model for topological phases in (3+1) d whose input data is a strict 2-group. This model, which has a higher gauge theory interpretation, provides a lattice Hamiltonian realisation of the Yetter homotopy 2-type topological

Gelfand theorem implies Stone representation theorem of Boolean rings
Stone Theorem about representing a Boolean algebra in terms of open-closed subsets of a topological space is a consequence of the Gelfand Theorem about representing a B∗- algebra as the algebra of continuous functions on a compact Hausdorff space.

Properties of TQ-algebras; pp. 141–148 [PDF]
Several properties of unital left (right) TQ-algebras are described. The conditions when a unital semitopological algebra is a left (right) TQ-algebra are given.

Superconformal current algebras and topological field theories
Topological conformal field theories based on superconformal current algebras are constructed. The models thus obtained are the supersymmetric version of the $G/G$ coset theories.

Two Dimensional String Theory and the Topological Torus
We analyze topological string theory on a two dimensional torus, focusing on symmetries in the matter sector. Even before coupling to gravity, the topological torus has an infinite number of point-like physical observables, which give rise via the BRST ...

Twisted Topological Graph Algebras Are Twisted Groupoid C*-algebras
The second author showed how Katsura's construction of the C*-algebra of a topological graph E may be twisted by a Hermitian line bundle L over the edge space E.

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...

This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...
