An elliptic vertex of Awata-Feigin-Shiraishi type for M-strings

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We write down a vertical representation for the elliptic Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra, and construct an elliptic version of the refined topological vertex of Awata, Feigin and Shiraishi.

Topology on CL-algebras

open access: yesSoft Computing
In this paper, by considering the notion of L-algebras and CL-algebras, we construct a topology on a bounded CL-algebra. Then, we investigate some of its topological properties, such as Hausdorff space, T0-space and T1-space and connectedness. Moreover, we express the relation between closed and compact sets in this topology.

đ¶*-algebras and differential topology [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the American Mathematical Society, 1985
Let M be a smooth closed manifold. The isotopy classes of smooth structures on M can be made into a finite abelian group \(\Sigma(M).\) The author constructs the homomorphism \(\vartheta(\Sigma(M)\to K^ 0(M))\) into the multiplicative group of units. The main results: there is a manifold M with a second structure \(\alpha \in \Sigma (M)_{(2)}\), for ...

Primal SPH Solver for Strongly Coupled Multiphase Simulations with High Density Ratios

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract In recent years, the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) approach has been increasingly used for multiphase simulations involving interactions between diverse materials. A critical component of an SPH simulator is the pressure solver, which not only facilitates the simulation of compressible or incompressible fluids but also handles contact ...

Twin TQFTs and Frobenius Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2013
We introduce the category of singular 2-dimensional cobordisms and show that it admits a completely algebraic description as the free symmetric monoidal category on a twin Frobenius algebra, by providing a description of this category in terms of ...

Topologies on BP∗-algebras

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1989
Among other results, the author shows that on a BP\({}^*\)-algebra [which were introduced and studied by this reviewer and \textit{S. A. Warsi}: Math. Japon, 21, 237-247 (1976; Zbl 0344.46104) and Period. Math. Hungar. 8, 15-28 (1977; Zbl 0329.46056)], there exists a finest locally convex \({}^*\)-algebra topology having the same bounded hermitian ...

FaceMamba: Geometry‐Aware Mamba for Efficient Speech‐Driven 3D Facial Animation

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Speech‐driven 3D facial animation plays a pivotal role in immersive digital human applications. Recent works have explored Mamba‐based sequence modeling as an efficient alternative to Transformer, but they often suffer from limited cross‐modal alignment and insufficient control over fine‐grained facial deformations.

A Non‐Parametric Framework for Correlation Functions on Product Metric Spaces

open access: yesInternational Statistical Review, EarlyView.
Summary We propose a non‐parametric framework for analysing data defined over products of metric spaces, a versatile class encountered in various fields. This framework accommodates non‐stationarity and seasonality and is applicable to both local and global domains, such as the Earth's surface, as well as domains evolving over linear time or time ...

Topological characterizations of S-Linearity

open access: yesAtti della Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti : Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali, 2007
We give several characterizations of basic concepts of S-linear algebra in terms of weak duality on topological vector spaces. On the way, some classic results of Functional Analysis are reinterpreted in terms of S-linear algebra, by an application ...

Solving Stochastic Climate‐Economy Models: A Deep Least‐Squares Monte Carlo Approach

open access: yesMathematical Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Stochastic versions of recursive integrated climate‐economy assessment models are essential for studying and quantifying policy decisions under uncertainty. However, as the number of state variables and stochastic shocks increases, solving these models via deterministic grid‐based dynamic programming (e.g., value‐function iteration/projection ...
