Geometry of essential matrix ranges and the Smith–Ward problem for operator systems

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract A d$d$‐tuple of bounded linear selfadjoint operators acting on an infinite‐dimensional separable Hilbert space is said to have the Smith–Ward property if the identity map of the image of the operator system in the Calkin algebra has a completely positive lift.

Localization sequences for logarithmic topological cyclic homology

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract We introduce the notion of an Ek$\mathbb {E}_k$‐ring with prelogarithmic structure, define logarithmic topological Hochschild homology and logarithmic topological cyclic homology in this context, and establish localization sequences for these theories. Our approach is based on Thom R$R$‐algebras.

Higher representation stability for ordered configuration spaces

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Using factorization homology with coefficients in twisted commutative algebras (TCAs), we prove two flavors of higher representation stability for the cohomology of (generalized) configuration spaces of a scheme/topological space X$X$. First, we provide an iterative procedure to study higher representation stability using actions coming from ...

Topological Algebras of Measurable and Locally Measurable Operators

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления, 2016
In this paper, we review the results on topological ∗-algebras S(M), S(M,τ), and LS(M) of measurable, τ -measurable, and locally measurable operators a liated with the von Neumann algebra M.

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 8, Page 1973-2102, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...

Weak, Strong and Mixed Extensions of Relations to Spaces of Ultrafilters

open access: yesMathematical Logic Quarterly, Volume 72, Issue 3, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The use of nonstandard methods to characterize properties of weak, strong and mixed extensions of congruences to ultrafilters has been the main topic of several recent papers, focused mostly on congruences and divisions. We show that similar methods can be used to extend these characterizations to arbitrary relations and their interplay.

On Poisson (2-3)-algebras which are finite-dimensional over the center

open access: yesResearches in Mathematics
One of the classic results of group theory is the so-called Schur theorem. It states that if the central factor-group $G/\zeta(G)$ of a group $G$ is finite, then its derived subgroup $[G,G]$ is also finite.

Inducing Coverings on Hilbert Schemes

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 299, Issue 8, Page 2177-2190, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We find an explicit geometric description of all coverings of Hilb2(Σ)$\operatorname{Hilb}^{2}(\Sigma)$ when Σ$\Sigma$ is a normal, complex, quasi‐projective surface with finite fundamental group. We then apply this construction to show that if Σ$\Sigma$ is an irreducible symplectic surface then Hilb2(Σ)$\operatorname{Hilb}^{2}(\Sigma)$ is an ...

The operator rings of topological symmetric orbifolds and their large N limit

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We compute the structure constants of topological symmetric orbifold theories up to third order in the large N expansion. The leading order structure constants are dominated by topological metric contractions.

Topological Classes of MV-Algebras

open access: yesStudia Logica
Abstract This paper is concerned with the properties of the prime spectrum of MV-algebras, namely the space of its prime ideals with the Zariski topology which is an important topological invariant of MV-algebras. The prime spectrum is a complete invariant in Boolean algebras, but in MV-algebras this is not the case.
