Topological characterization of filter topological MV-algebras
Fuzzy Sets Syst., 2020Motivated by the study of C-topology on lattice-ordered groups, Luan and Yang introduced the concept of filter topology on MV-algebras in a recent paper. In order to have a better perception of this concept, we study some basic facts and notable examples,

Topologically Algebraic Algebras
Mediterranean Journal of Mathematics, 2004Let \(A\) be a complex topological algebra and \(H(\mathbb{C})\) the algebra of all complex-valued entire functions. An element \(x\) in \(A\) is said to be topologically algebraic if all entire functions operate in \(A\) at the point \(x\) and if there exists a nonzero entire function \(f\) in \(H(\mathbb{C})\) such that \(f(x)=0\).

On the Topologically Invertible Elements of a Topological Algebra
Mathematical Proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, 2007Let \(A\) be a real or complex topological unital algebra with jointly continuous multiplication and \({\mathfrak M}(A)\) the set of all nontrivial continuous multiplicative linear functionals on \(A\). It is said that \(A\) has the quasi-Wiener property if \({\mathfrak M}(A)\) is not empty and from \(a\in A\) and \(f(a)\neq 0\) for each \(f\in ...

Notes on topological BL-algebras
Fuzzy Sets Syst., 2017In this study, we aim to solve the open problem posed by Zahiri and Borzooei [23] , i.e., given an arbitrary linear topological BL-algebra ( L , U ) , under what condition does its topology U coincides with the new one V induced by a system of filters ...

Stable Algebraic Topology and Stable Topological Algebra
Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 1998The article is essentially the text of a lecture held at the London Mathematical Society. The author gives an overview of the history of stable algebraic topology since the early 1960's.

Continuous and smooth envelopes of topological algebras
, 2013Since the time when the first optical instruments have been invented, an idea that the visible image of an object under observation depends on tools of observation became commonly assumed in physics.

Topological BCI-algebras are characterized in terms of neighborhoods. It is proved that a topological BCI-algebra is Hausdorff iff \(\{0\}\) is closed. A filter base generating a BCI-topology is described.
