Topological charge density waves at half-integer filling of a moiré superlattice
Nature Physics, 2021When a flat band is partially filled with electrons, strong Coulomb interactions between them may lead to the emergence of topological gapped states with quantized Hall conductivity.

Optical vortex beams with the infinite topological charge
Journal of Optics, 2021Up to now, Gaussian optical vortices (OVs) were investigated with the finite topological charge (TC). Here, we study an OV with the infinite TC. Such OVs have a countable number of phase singularities (isolated intensity nulls), which typically have the ...

Topological charge-density method of identifying phase singularities in cardiac fibrillation.
Physical Review E, 2021Spiral waves represent the key motifs of typical self-sustained dynamical patterns in excitable systems such as cardiac tissue. The motion of phase singularities (PSs) that lies at the center of spiral waves captures many qualitative and, in some cases ...

Twofold van Hove singularity and origin of charge order in topological kagome superconductor CsV3Sb5
Nature Physics, 2021The layered vanadium antimonides AV 3 Sb 5 (A = K, Rb, Cs) are a recently discovered family of topological kagome metals that exhibit a range of strongly correlated electronic phases including charge order and superconductivity.

Electric-Field Switching of Magnetic Topological Charge in Type-I Multiferroics.
Physical Review Letters, 2020Applying electric field to control magnetic properties is a very efficient way for spintronics devices. However, the control of magnetic characteristics by electric fields is not straightforward, due to the time-reversal symmetry of magnetism versus ...

On topological charge indices of graphs
2023Summary: We introduce a fast method of computing the topological charge indices of simple graphs (molecules) which does not require matrices of large sizes. For the case of trees, we give a compact formula and in the general case we obtain upper and lower bounds for the charge indices.

Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2007
The extent to which we can construct electric, coloured and magnetic charges in gauge theories will be discussed. The global properties of the charged sectors will be touched upon and through this its relation to confinement and infrared dynamics.

Diffractometry-based vortex beams fractional topological charge measurement.
Optics Letters, 2020In this Letter, we investigate the Fresnel diffraction of vortex beams from a phase plate and propose a novel (to the best of our knowledge) method to determine the fractional part of the topological charge of vortex beams.
