Reorganized brain functional network topology in stable and progressive mild cognitive impairment
AIMMild cognitive impairment (MCI) includes two distinct subtypes, namely progressive MCI (pMCI) and stable MCI (sMCI). The objective of this study was to identify the topological reorganization of brain functional networks in patients with pMCI and sMCI.

Hand Vein Images Enhancement Based on Local Gray-level Information Histogram [PDF]
Based on the Histogram equalization theory, this paper presents a novel concept of histogram to realize the contrast enhancement of hand vein images, avoiding the lost of topological vein structure or importing the fake vein information.

USe3 is introduced as an actinide van der Waals semiconductor that mirrors the quasi‐one‐dimensional physics of transition‐metal trichalcogenides. Polarization‐resolved Raman spectroscopy on exfoliated flakes maps strong in‐plane phonon anisotropy and strain‐tunable mode shifts.

On topological lattices and their applications to module theory [PDF]
Yassemi’s “second submodules” are dualized and properties of its spectrum are studied. This is done by moving the ring theoretical setting to a lattice theoretical one and by introducing the notion of a (strongly) topological lattice [Formula: see text] with respect to a proper subset [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text] We investigate and ...

Acetoacetates Derived From Vegetable Oils: A Platform for Tailor‐Made Vinylogous Urethane Foams
A renewable vegetable oil is converted into acetoacetate‐functionalized precursors for the preparation of catalyst‐free vinylogous urethane foams. Room‐temperature foaming with n‐pentane generates lightweight cellular materials, while the choice of amine enables control over foam structure and mechanical properties.

Topological-insulator-based terahertz modulator [PDF]
AbstractThree dimensional topological insulators, as a new phase of quantum matters, are characterized by an insulating gap in the bulk and a metallic state on the surface. Particularly, most of the topological insulators have narrow band gaps, and hence have promising applications in the area of terahertz optoelectronics.

Unexpected Asymmetric Mn‐Sb Site Mixing and Reentrant Spin‐Glass State of MnSb2Te4
MnSb2Te4 is an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator. Its properties are extraordinarily sensitive to tiny defects, making structural studies essential for understanding how magnetism and topology work together. This work shows that Mn can be unevenly distributed within the crystal and how that disorder is linked to a newly reported spin‐glass state
