The Elman‐Lam‐Krüskemper Theorem
For a (formally) real field K, the vanishing of a certain power of the fundamental ideal in the Witt ring of K(-1) implies that the same power of the fundamental ideal in the Witt ring of K is torsion free. The proof of this statement involves a fact on the structure of the torsion part of powers of the fundamental ideal in the Witt ring of K.

On the parameterized Tate construction
Abstract We introduce and study a genuine equivariant refinement of the Tate construction associated to an extension Ĝ$\widehat{G}$ of a finite group G$G$ by a compact Lie group K$K$, which we call the parameterized Tate construction (−)tGK$(-)^{t_G K}$.

The compactificability classes of certain spaces
We apply the theory of the mutual compactificability to some spaces, mostly derived from the real line. For example, any noncompact locally connected metrizable generalized continuum, the Tichonov cube without its zero point Iℵ0\{0}, as well as the Cantor discontinuum without its zero point Dℵ0\{0} are of the same class of mutual compactificability as ...

The Interaction of Femtosecond Laser with Perovskites for Advanced Photonics
Femtosecond laser processing of halide perovskites can realize high‐solution, arbitrary planar, and 3D micro/nano‐architecture at large‐scale with low‐cost. This review systematically summarizes the interaction of fs laser with perovskites, including the mechanisms, phenomena, and applications.

On the existence of certainty equivalents of various relevant types
We tackle the problem of associating certainty equivalents with preferences over stochastic situations, which arises in a number of different fields (e.g., the theory of risk attitudes or the analysis of stochastic cooperative games). We study the possibility of endowing such preferences with certainty equivalence functionals that satisfy relevant ...

We characterize the existence of a real continuous order-preserving function on a topological preordered space, under the hypotheses that the topological space is normal and the preorder satisfies a strong continuity assumption, called IC-continuity. Under the same continuity assumption concerning the preorder, we present a sufficient condition for the

Fuzzy neighborhood structures on partially ordered groups
Ahsanullah (1988) showed the compatibility between group structures and I‐fuzzy neighborhood systems. In this paper, we require not only that the I‐fuzzy neighborhood systems be compatible with the group structures, but also compatible with the order relation, in one sense or another.

A (co)homology theory for some preordered topological spaces
The aim of this short note is to develop a (co)homology theory for topological spaces together with the specialisation preorder. A known way to construct such a (co)homology is to define a partial order on the topological space starting from the preorder, and then to consider some (co)homology for the obtained poset; however, we will prove that every ...
