COARSE VERSION OF HOMOTOPY THEORY (AXIOMATIC STRUCTURE) [PDF]
In topology, homotopy theory can be put into an algebraic framework. The most complete such framework is that of a Quillen model Category [[15], [5]]. The usual class of coarse spaces appears to be too small to be a Quillen model category.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

The Standard Model of particle physics in other universes [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how the mathematical objects and structures associated with the particle physics in other universes, can be inferred from the mathematical objects and structures associated with the particle physics in our own ...

A Geometric Study of Commutator Subgroups [PDF]
Let G be a group and G' its commutator subgroup. Commutator length (cl) and stable commutator length (scl) are naturally defined concepts for elements of G'. We study cl and scl for two classes of groups.

Neuronal PKM2‐driven glycolysis generates excess lactate that triggers histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la), establishing a pathogenic metabolic‐epigenetic axis in epilepsy. Elevated H3K18la enriches the Cop1 promoter, transcriptionally upregulating the E3 ubiquitin ligase COP1, which subsequently drives proteasomal degradation of GABAARβ2 and impairs ...

Geometric Quantization and Foliation Reduction [PDF]
A standard question in the study of geometric quantization is whether symplectic reduction interacts nicely with the quantized theory, and in particular whether “quantization commutes with reduction.” Guillemin and Sternberg first proposed ...

In fibrotic distal lung regions, CD66c+ basal cells emerge as a pathological state. Using human distal lung organoids, this study identifies CD66c+ basal cells as a pro‐fibrotic state arising through transdifferentiation from secretory, AT2, and basal cells.

An adeno‐associated virus (AAV) toolkit enables selective anatomical and functional targeting of striatal D1‐MSNs through retrograde transduction. Enhanced capsids and engineered enhancers drive robust transgene expression across murine and primate models.

Some properties of harmonic mappings [PDF]
A harmonic map between Riemannian manifolds satisfies, in local coordinates, a second order semi-linear elliptic system of equations. This system of equations arise as the Euler-Lagrange equations of a natural Dirichlet or energy integral on maps between
