, 2021 The aim of this study is to demonstrate how utopias reclaim a circumscribed microcosm that takes the contours of the island evoked by the canon of utopian writing. It also shows how they reactivate the dream of reaching eutopos, the beautiful place which thus prevails over the concept of outopos, the place that does not exist.

A new combination in Strophopappus (Asteraceae, Vernonieae, Lepidaploinae)
Nordic Journal of Botany, EarlyView.Revisions of herbarium collections reveal a new combination in Strophopappus (Asteraceae, Vernonieae, Lepidaploinae). Strophopappus comprises nine species occurring in South America, eight of which are endemic to Brazil. Currently, Vernonia riedeliana is treated as a synonym of Strophopappus bicolor.

Harvesting of two alpine Artemisia: Effects of an amateur practice on wild plant dynamics
PLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, EarlyView.Wild plants are consumed all over the world, and knowledge of the effects of harvesting is necessary to ensure the sustainability of this activity. Our 3‐year study of two closely related alpine Artemisia species in the Southern Alps revealed a positive impact of harvesting at the plant scale and on the short term.

Basic subtoposes of the effective topos
Annals of Pure and Applied Logic, 2013 We employ a new tool (sights) to investigate local operators in the Effective Topos. A number of new such local operators is analyzed using this machinery. Moreover, we investigate a local operator defined in the thesis of A. Pitts, and establish that its corresponding subtopos satisfies true arithmetic.
