Top-antitop and top-top resonances in the dilepton channel at the CERN LHC [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2009
We perform a model-independent study for top-antitop and top-top resonances in the dilepton channel at the Large Hadtron Collider. In this channel, we can solve the kinematic system to obtain the momenta of all particles including the two neutrinos, and hence the resonance mass and spin.

EFFECT OF COMPOST RATES AND TOPPING TREATMENTS ON GROWTH, YIELD AND QUALITY OF JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE UNDER SANDY SOIL CONDITIONS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Productivity and Development, 2020
A field experiment was carried out during the summer seasons of 2013 and 2014 at the Experimental Farm at El-Kassasin, Hort. Station Ismailia Governorate, Egypt, to study the effect of compost fertilizer at 3, 6 and 9 ton/fed.

The Effects of Irrigation, Topping, and Interrow Spacing on the Yield and Quality of Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) Fibers in Temperate Climatic Conditions

open access: yesAgriculture, 2022
The study was aimed at determining the most suitable irrigation schedule program for hemp grown for fibers by using evaporation from the free water surface (Eo), measured by a Class A pan and related crop plant coefficient (Kc).

Top cross-sections and single top [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series, 2014
This paper summarizes top quark cross-section measurements at the Tevatron and the LHC. Top quark pair production cross-sections have been measured in all decay modes by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations at the LHC and by the CDF and D0 collaborations at the Tevatron. Single top quark production has been observed at both the Tevatron and the LHC.

Identification of Tobacco Topping Responsive Proteins in Roots

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2016
Tobacco plant has many responses to topping, such as the increase in ability of nicotine synthesis and secondary growth of roots. Some topping responsive miRNAs and genes had been identified in our previous work, but it is not enough to elaborate ...

Nobody at the top [PDF]

open access: yesEMBO reports, 2018
EMBO Reports (2018) e46329 Science is a global endeavour, a unifying mission to obtain an objective understanding of the natural world. Most of its practitioners will never meet each other or interact directly or even indirectly in any way, yet they all retain and share a sense of kinship in this open‐ended enterprise.

Integrative proteome and metabolome unveil the central role of IAA alteration in axillary bud development following topping in tobacco

open access: yesScientific Reports
Axillary bud is an important aspect of plant morphology, contributing to the final tobacco yield. However, the mechanisms of axillary bud development in tobacco remain largely unknown.

The dark top

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2008
We present a class of composite Higgs models in which the particle that regulates the top quark contribution to the Higgs potential is also a weakly-interacting dark matter candidate. This color-neutral "dark top" is related to the standard model top quark through a large global symmetry. Because the same couplings that control the Higgs potential also

Claudin‐6 Protein Expression in Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumors Is Strongly Enriched in the Molecular Subgroup AT/RT‐TYR

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Claudin‐6 has emerged as a promising immunotherapeutic target, yet protein‐level data in atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumors (AT/RTs) have been inconsistent. We analyzed 36 well‐characterized AT/RT samples and found membranous claudin‐6 protein expression in 58% of cases, with striking enrichment in the molecular subgroup AT/RT‐TYR (100%) and ...
