Divergent Position Taking Under Uncertainty With an Application to Chile's 2021–2022 Constituent Convention

open access: yesLegislative Studies Quarterly, Volume 51, Issue 2, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Sometimes politicians must take indelible public stances under unresolved uncertainty about an outcome they cannot control, for example, consider the minority on a proposal that is bound to pass. Counter to the expectations that party platforms converge, and that rational individuals balk at betting against one another, we show this can lead ...

Inequalities in Exclusively Mobile Interventions Targeting Weight‐Related Behaviors: Systematic Review of Observational Studies

open access: yesObesity Reviews, Volume 27, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Mobile health interventions are promising behavior change tools, but they might benefit deprived populations less due to disparities in intervention uptake, engagement, and effectiveness. Evidence so far mainly stems from clinical trials, which may suffer from selection bias.

Psychobiotics and the microbiota–gut–brain axis: Emerging paradigms in mental health modulation

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, Volume 111, Issue 5, Page 2449-2463, 1 May 2026.
Abstract The global rise in mental health conditions has prompted interest in interventions that act beyond conventional psychopharmacology. Psychobiotics, broadly understood as live microorganisms or microbe‐derived products that interact with the microbiota–gut–brain axis, have been suggested to exert neuroactive effects through neural, immune ...

Toros bulgarları Anadolu'ya nereden geldi?

open access: yes, 2015
Some sources record a certain Bulgar people of Turkic stock in the Middle Toros region in the South of Anatolia. The question of their origin has led to some debates. This essay shows that they migrated first to Hungary from the Volga Bulgar in the 920's, and then came to the Southern Anatolia together with a fleet of the Arab administration of Tarsus.

Hump‐Shaped Enhancement of Coarse‐Grain Transport in Sediment Mixtures Induced by Fine Grains of Different Sizes

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
Abstract Bedload transport of sediment mixtures is fundamental to river morphology and impacts aquatic ecology. Adding fine grains enhances coarse‐grain transport, yet controlling mechanisms remain elusive. Employing discrete element simulations, we examine how fine‐grain size and proportion influence coarse‐grain flux.
