Transducer Materials Mediated Deep Brain Stimulation in Neurological Disorders
This review discusses advanced transducer materials for improving deep brain stimulation (DBS) in neurological disorders. These materials respond to light, ultrasound, or magnetic fields, enabling precise, less invasive neuromodulation. Their stimulus‐responsive properties enhance neural control and adaptive therapy, paving the way for next‐generation ...

Modulating Oxide‐Based Quantum Materials by Ion Implantation
This review highlights how ion implantation, a well developed chip‐technology, enables targeted modulation of oxide‐based quantum materials. This includes tuning of metal‐insulator transitions, magnetism, and superconductivity through selective doping, defect creation, and induced lattice strain. Abstract Ion implantation has emerged as a powerful tool

Robotized FSW – Evolution of forces and torque with nonlinear welds [PDF]
The main purpose of the article is to study the evolution of the welding forces and torque with non-straight welding path. The main studies performed on forces and torque are usually done on plane straight welding path when the processing parameter are ...

A magnetic synapse: multilevel spin-torque memristor with perpendicular anisotropy
Memristors are non-volatile nano-resistors which resistance can be tuned by applied currents or voltages and set to a large number of levels. Thanks to these properties, memristors are ideal building blocks for a number of applications such as multilevel

Energy Dissipation Rate in an Agitated Crucible Containing Molten Metal
The energy dissipation rate (EDR) is an important parameter for characterizing the behavior of inclusion coagulation in agitated molten metal. To clarify the inclusion coagulation mechanism, we review previous water model studies by particularly focusing

This work demonstrates ultrafast, field‐free spin–orbit torque (SOT) switching using a PtTe2/WTe2/CoFeB multilayer, achieving sub‐nanosecond magnetization reversal with record‐low energy consumption. The PtTe2/WTe2 bilayer generates an intrinsic out‐of‐plane spin current, enabling deterministic switching without external fields.
