Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

Project calculation of the steering mechanism hydraulic servo control in motor vehicles

open access: yesVojnotehnički Glasnik, 2013
Hydraulic servo controls are designed to facilitate rotation in place without providing increased ppower to steering wheels. In the initial design phase, the dimensions required for control systems are usually obtained through the calculation of their ...

Forces Perspective of Drillability of Titanium Alloy 6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo [PDF]

open access: yesJEMMME (Journal of Energy, Mechanical, Material, and Manufacturing Engineering), 2018
This paper concerns on drillability of Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo (Ti-6246) from the point view of thrust force (Fz) & torque (Mz) using a TiAlN CVD coated carbide tool. The condition of the material was varied with three different heat treatments.

Multimodal Mechanical Testing of Additively Manufactured Ti6Al4V Lattice Structures: Compression, Bending, and Fatigue

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

Physicochemical and sensory characterization of an extruded product from blue maize meal and orange bagasse using the response surface methodology

open access: yesCyTA - Journal of Food, 2018
The mixtures of blue cornmeal and orange bagasse were processed in a single screw laboratory extruder. We used an experimental design, central composite rotatable, where the factors were as follows: extruder die temperature (153–187°C), feed moisture ...

Nanowire spin torque oscillator driven by spin orbit torques [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications, 2014
Spin torque from spin current applied to a nanoscale region of a ferromagnet can act as negative magnetic damping and thereby excite self-oscillations of its magnetization. In contrast, spin torque uniformly applied to the magnetization of an extended ferromagnetic film does not generate self-oscillatory magnetic dynamics but leads to reduction of the ...

Piezoresistive Monitoring of Carbon Nanomaterial‐Reinforced Epoxy Composites Under Cyclic and Fatigue Loading: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.
