Toroidal modeling of penetration of the resonant magnetic perturbation field [PDF]
A toroidal, quasi-linear model is proposed to study the penetration dynamics of the resonant magnetic perturbation (RMP) field into the plasma. The model couples the linear, fluid plasma response to a toroidal momentum balance equation, which includes ...

Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

Error field measurements with rotating RMP fields for DIII-D H-mode
Three-dimensional magnetic sensors are employed to identify the amplitude and toroidal phase of error fields (EFs) by analyzing the torque balance for magnetic islands entrained by rotating resonant magnetic perturbations (RMPs) in DIII-D H-mode plasmas.

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.
