Intelligent Torque Allocation Based Coordinated Switching Strategy for Comfort Enhancement of Hybrid Electric Vehicles

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
This paper proposes two intelligent torque distribution strategies based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and fuzzy logic control (FLC) to provide convenient torque allocation that maximizes hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) propulsion power.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Stability Study of Distributed Drive Vehicles Based on Estimation of Road Adhesion Coefficient and Multi-Parameter Control

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
In order to improve the driving stability of distributed-drive intelligent electric vehicles under different roadway attachment conditions, this paper proposes a multi-parameter control algorithm based on the estimation of road adhesion coefficients ...

Active torque distribution strategy for electric vehicle independent axle drive [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2019
Vehicles equipped with an electric independent axle drive have different properties compared to conventional vehicles. Distribution of driving or braking torque can be achieved by the proper control of the operation of electric machines without applying ...

Direct Numerical Simulations of Local and Global Torque in Taylor-Couette Flow up to Re=30.000

open access: yes, 2012
The torque in turbulent Taylor-Couette flows for shear Reynolds numbers Re_S up to 3x10^4 at various mean rotations is studied by means of direct numerical simulations for a radius ratio of \eta=0.71.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Review on Torque Distribution Scheme of Four-Wheel In-Wheel Motor Electric Vehicle

open access: yesMachines, 2022
In-wheel motor electric vehicles have the advantages of independently controllable four-wheel torque, high energy utilization rate, and fast motor response speed, which greatly reduces the curb weight of the vehicle and simplifies the structure of the ...

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Switching speed distribution of spin-torque-induced magnetic reversal

open access: yes, 2006
The switching probability of a single-domain ferromagnet under spin-current excitation is evaluated using the Fokker-Planck equation(FPE). In the case of uniaxial anisotropy, the FPE reduces to an ordinary differential equation in which the lowest ...

Does Long‐Term Lower Extremity Strength Training in Adults With Knee Osteoarthritis and Varus Alignment Reduce Knee Joint Loading During Gait?

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...
