Torque ripple reduction of model predictive torque control of induction motor drives
2013 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition, 2013Model predictive torque control (MPTC) has been proposed as an effective alternative to conventional direct torque control (DTC) for induction motor (IM) drives. Compared to DTC, MPTC is more effective and accurate in the vector selection by incorporating the system model directly with the finite switching states.

Torque ripple reduction of SRM using advanced direct instantaneous torque control scheme
2007 International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2007In this paper, an advanced torque control scheme of SRM using DITC(Direct Instantaneous Torque Control) and PWM(pulse width modulation) is presented. Different from conventional DITC method, proposed method uses one or two switching modes at every sampling time, instead of only one switching mode.

Novel direct torque control (DTC) scheme with fuzzy adaptive torque-ripple reduction
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2003Investigations were carried out on a novel direct torque control system, which not only reduces the undesirable torque ripple by up to 98% by means of introducing a modulation between the selected active state and a zero state, but also maintains constant switching frequency.
