Torsional dipoles

Canadian Journal of Physics, 1988
An attempt is made to introduce dipole structure into gravitational theory. We do this by trying to produce torsion tensors with the same form as the electric-field tensor for an electric dipole. First, we construct Ricci tensors for space-times with vanishing Christoffel connections. Then we discuss the conditions to put on the tensors.

Torsion of the gallbladder

The Japanese Journal of Surgery, 1986
A 77-year-old Japanese woman with torsion of the gallbladder was surgically treated. Perhaps because of its rarity, the diagnosis is seldom made clinically, the condition generally being recognized only at laparotomy. Discussed herein are the possibility of preoperative diagnosis of this condition and the usefulness of ultrasonotomography.

Torsion of the Adnexa

Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1985
Adnexal torsion is an interesting, uncommon, and potentially lethal condition that may arise most unexpectedly in women of any age, but particularly during the reproductive years. It is generally unilateral and may involve either normal or pathologically enlarged ovary or tube, or both organs.
