Multimaterial Approach to Improve the Mechanical Properties of a Novel Modified Auxetic Reentrant Honeycomb Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A multimaterial approach is introduced to improve upon auxetic structures by combining two different polymers into the same reentrant honeycomb structure via additive manufacturing. The deformation behavior as well as the resulting Poisson's ratio are thereby improved significantly.

Poly(1,4‐anthraquinone) as an Organic Electrode Material: Interplay of the Electronic and Structural Properties due to the Unusual Lone‐Pair‐π Conjugation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
In this study, the unique role of the unusual lone‐pair‐π conjugation mechanism in poly(1,4‐anthraquinone) (P14AQ) is explored as an organic electrode material. Unlike traditional π‐π interactions, P14AQ's conjugation involves lone pairs of oxygen atoms interacting with the π cloud of adjacent units, enabling stable charge transport even with minimal π‐

PLASTIC BEARING CAPACITY OF THE STEEL ELEMENT CROSS-SECTION BY INTERNAL FORCES COMBINATION AND RESTRAINT

open access: yesЗбірник наукових праць: Серія: Галузеве машинобудування, будівництво, 2019
The article examines the features of determining the bearing capacity of the steel profile cross-section, rolled or composed from three sheets with arbitrary thickness, considering the development of plastic deformations in a complex combination of ...

The analytic torsion of a disc [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of Global Analysis and Geometry, 2011
We study the Reidemeister torsion and the analytic torsion of the $m$ dimensional disc in the Euclidean $m$ dimensional space, using the base for the homology defined by Ray and Singer in \cite{RS}. We prove that the Reidemeister torsion coincides with a power of the volume of the disc.

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

On the set of points of zero torsion for negative-torsion maps of the annulus [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
For negative-torsion maps on the annulus we show that on every $\mathcal{C}^1$ essential curve there is at least one point of zero torsion. As an outcome, we deduce that the Hausdorff dimension of the set of points of zero torsion is greater or equal 1.

Evidence of Long‐Range Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction at Ferrimagnetic Insulator/Nonmagnetic Metal Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that in sputter‐deposited Tb3Fe5O12 (TbIG)/nonmagnetic metal (NM) heterostructures, the interfacial Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction (DMI) originates at the TbIG/NM interface. Furthermore, measurements suggest a significant interfacial DMI arising from a second non‐local interface, created by inserting a Cu spacer layer between
