Total Serum Cholesterol Levels in the Horse

SUMMARY Total serum cholesterol levels were determined in 168 horses, ponies and donkeys by an automated method, and the overall mean and standard deviation was 101 · 56 ± 21 · 67 mg/100 ml. Highest levels were found in the first six months of life and adult values reached by one year of age.
