Total Colorings of Embedded Graphs with No 3-Cycles Adjacent to 4-Cycles
A total-k-coloring of a graph G is a coloring of V ∪ E using k colors such that no two adjacent or incident elements receive the same color. The total chromatic number χ′′(G) of G is the smallest integer k such that G has a total-k-coloring.

AbstractWe show that as n → ∞ the proportion of graphs on vertices 1, 2, ..., n with total chromatic number χ″ > Δ + 1 is very small; and the proportion with χ″ > Δ + 2 is very very small. Here Δ denotes the maximum vertex degree. We also give an easy new deterministic upper bound on χ″ (proved randomly).

Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

A Note on Neighbor Expanded Sum Distinguishing Index
A total k-coloring of a graph G is a coloring of vertices and edges of G using colors of the set [k] = {1, . . . , k}. These colors can be used to distinguish the vertices of G. There are many possibilities of such a distinction.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Weak Total Coloring Conjecture and Hadwiger’s Conjecture on Total Graphs
The total graph of a graph $G$, denoted by $T(G)$, is defined on the vertex set $V(G)\cup E(G)$ with $c_1,c_2 \in V(G)\cup E(G)$ adjacent whenever $c_1$ and $c_2$ are adjacent to (or incident on) each other in $G$. The total chromatic number $\chi''(G)$ of a graph $G$ is defined to be the chromatic number of its total graph.

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...
