Fully 3D‐Printed Wave‐Wound Electromagnetic Motors
This work presents the first fully 3D‐printed wave‐wound electromagnetic motors, which are created using conductive nanoparticle inks, carbon‐filled nylon polymers, and surface mount components. These motors can achieve a stall torque of 7.62N·mmA−1$7.62 \nobreakspace N{\cdot }mm A^{-1}$ and efficiency of 28.2 %, which approaches the performance of ...

Analysis of Total Harmonic Distortion in Microspeaker Considering Coupling Effect
With the advent of mobile phone, digital multimedia broadcasting(DMB) service is to be realized for multimedia data communication. For an acoustic part, a smaller and lighter microspeaker is also soon to be realized as an MP3 song player and a speakerphone. Sound quality in the microspeaker is becoming more important in mobile phones.

Assessing the effects of power quality on partial discharge behaviour through machine learning [PDF]
Partial discharge (PD) is commonly used as an indicator of insulation health in high voltage equipment, but research has indicated that power quality, particularly harmonics, can strongly influence the discharge behaviour and the corresponding pattern ...

Multidirectional Motion Strategy of Miniature Water Surface Robot Actuated by Single Exciter
A novel multidirectional motion strategy on the water surface based on a single exciter is proposed, and a single‐exciter single‐plate module is developed for actuation. The driving forces generation mechanism of the module is revealed from the perspective of the asymmetric surface wave field.

Flexibility Provision Induced Harmonic Distortion Increment in LV Networks: A Stochastic Assessment
Harnessing demand-side flexibility for system-wide flexibility services is becoming increasingly popular. The effect of such services on distribution grid parameters, such as harmonic distortion, has remained underexplored.

Minimizing total harmonic distortion in single phase inverters
The first device that comes to mind in terms of quality and economy in energy systems in iverters. Inverters are the devices which convert the direct current to alternating current at the desired frequency and amplitude. It is desirable that do not contain u desired signals which are called harmonics. The first thing that comes to mind in the design of
