UDP‐Glucose‐6‐Dehydrogenase Mediated O‐GlcNAcylation of Tight Junction Protein 1 Suppresses Metastasis in Renal Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our research unveiled a regulatory paradigm wherein TRIM25 orchestrates the ubiquitin‐mediated degradation of UGDH. UGDH modulates the protein stability of TJP1 by regulating O‐GlcNAcylation levels, effectively impeding the metastasis of ccRCC. Our insights elevate UGDH to a pivotal biomarker and tumor suppressor, marking the first demonstration that ...

Integrative Multi‐Omics Analysis Reveals a Mitochondrial–Immune Axis Associated With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Response in High‐Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrative multi‐omics analysis delineates a mitochondrial–immune axis governing neoadjuvant chemotherapy response in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer. Immune‐active tumors exhibit enhanced B‐cell infiltration and favorable sensitivity, whereas metabolically rewired tumors display oxidative phosphorylation dependency and resistance.

TOLLIP Inhibits Psoriasis Progression via Suppressing PKM2‐Mediated Glycolysis in Keratinocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, we identify TOLLIP as a critical regulator of psoriasis pathogenesis through its modulation of glycolytic metabolism. Our findings establish the TOLLIP‐PKM2‐glycolysis axis as a key mechanism linking metabolic reprogramming to psoriasis pathogenesis, and propose TOLLIP as a promising therapeutic target.

The Role of Baseline PET/CT Parameters in Predicting Treatment Response in Patients with Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer Undergoing Total Neoadjuvant Therapy

open access: yesMedicina
Background and Objectives: Total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT) for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC) offers significant advantages in terms of pathologic response and long-term survival; however, it is still unclear which patients will benefit the most ...

Prognostic value of metabolic parameters measured by 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography in surgically resected non-small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesWorld Journal of Nuclear Medicine, 2020
18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography-derived metabolic parameters can play a role in prognostication. We investigated the prognostic value of various metabolic parameters such as maximum standardized uptake value ...

Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Analysis of Tumor Heterogeneity and the Microenvironment in Pseudomyxoma Peritonei

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a single‐cell atlas of pseudomyxoma peritonei spanning primary and paired metastatic lesions. Distinct epithelial substates, stromal remodeling, immune exclusion, lipid metabolic reprogramming, and a candidate angiogenic network were identified in metastatic lesions.

Early Response Monitoring Following Radiation Therapy by Using [18F]FDG and [11C]Acetate PET in Prostate Cancer Xenograft Model with Metabolomics Corroboration

open access: yesMolecules, 2017
We aim to characterize the metabolic changes associated with early response to radiation therapy in a prostate cancer mouse model by 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-d-glucose ([18F]FDG) and [11C]acetate ([11C]ACT) positron emission tomography, with nuclear ...

Mitochondrial SLC25A46 Rewires Fatty Acid Oxidation to Promote Cell Proliferation and Ferroptosis Evasion in Ovarian Cancer by Stabilizing CACT

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial SLC25A46 is upregulated in ovarian cancer (OC) and correlates with poor prognosis. SLC25A46 stabilizes CACT to activate fatty acid oxidation, increasing ATP and NADPH production to drive cell proliferation and ferroptosis evasion. SLC25A46 silencing sensitizes OC cells to ferroptosis and carboplatin, offering a promising therapeutic ...
