Intercomparison of a Regional Climate Model Ensemble for Selected European Catchments
This study analyzes a regional climate model ensemble for water cycle and water resource research with two models. Results show that ICON generally outperforms TSMP1 simulations, mainly with 2‐m temperature and precipitation. These findings serve as a baseline evaluation that shows how key structural differences influence the model skill.

Oriented 6-dimensional submanifolds in the octonians, III
In this paper, we classify 6-dimensional almost Hermitian submanifolds in the octonians 𝕆 according to the classification introduced by A. Gray and L. Hervella. We give new examples of quasi-Käthler and ∗-Einstein submanifolds in 𝕆. Also, we prove that a

ABSTRACT Glaciokarst landscapes pose distinctive challenges for cosmogenic dating because meltwater and runoff can be rapidly rerouted into ponors and conduit networks, weakening glacier–river coupling and promoting local sediment storage. We reconstruct glacier retreat and postglacial stabilization on the Snežnik Plateau (SW Slovenia) using in situ ...

Teichmüller space is totally geodesic in Goldman space [PDF]
We construct a new Riemannian metric on Goldman space $\mathcal{B}(S)$, the space of the equivalence classes of convex projective structures on the surface $S$, and then prove the new metric, as well as the metric of Darvishzadeh and Goldman, restricts to be the Weil-Petersson metric on Teichm$\ddot{u}$ller space, embedded as a submanifold of Goldman ...

ABSTRACT Lateral carbon transport induced by soil erosion is a key component of the global carbon cycle. Over the past 50 years, ecological restoration projects in the Loess Plateau of China have increased vegetation coverage. However, the effects of land use, precipitation variability, and landscape factors on lateral carbon transport remain unclear ...

Refining techniques for high‐frequency monitoring of chlorophyll a fluorescence in estuarine systems
Abstract Concentrations of the photosynthetic pigment chlorophyll a are commonly used as a proxy for phytoplankton biomass in aquatic systems. Traditional methods for extracting chlorophyll a in discrete samples limit measurement frequency, while in situ sensor technology provides high frequency chlorophyll a fluorescence measurements at a more ...

In this note we prove that the Heisenberg group with a left-invariant pseudo-Riemannian metric admits a completely integrable totally geodesic distribution of codimension 1. This is on the contrary to the Riemannian case, as it was proved by T. Hangan.

Visibility and Intersection Density for Boolean Models in Hyperbolic Space
ABSTRACT For Poisson particle processes in hyperbolic space we introduce and study concepts analogous to the intersection density and the mean visible volume, which were originally considered in the analysis of Boolean models in Euclidean space. In particular, we determine a necessary and sufficient condition for the finiteness of the mean visible ...

Lightlike Submanifolds of a Semi-Riemannian Manifold of Quasi-Constant Curvature
We study the geometry of lightlike submanifolds (𝑀,𝑔,𝑆(𝑇𝑀),𝑆(𝑇𝑀⟂)) of a semi-Riemannian manifold (𝑀,̃𝑔) of quasiconstant curvature subject to the following conditions: (1) the curvature vector field ζ of 𝑀 is tangent to 𝑀, (2) the screen distribution 𝑆(
