Semi-Slant Submersions from Almost Product Riemannian Manifolds
Demonstratio Mathematica, 2016 In this paper, we introduce semi-slant submersions from almost product Riemannian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We give some examples, investigate the geometry of foliations which are arisen from the definition of a Riemannian submersion.

Special subvarieties of non-arithmetic ball quotients and Hodge Theory
, 2020 Let $\Gamma \subset \operatorname{PU}(1,n)$ be a lattice, and $S_\Gamma$ the associated ball quotient. We prove that, if $S_\Gamma$ contains infinitely many maximal totally geodesic subvarieties, then $\Gamma$ is arithmetic.
