Price and Non‐price Terms of Syndicated Loans to Technology Firms

open access: yesFinancial Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines whether US technology firms receive different price and nonprice terms in the syndicated loan market compared to nontechnology firms. The analysis reveals that technology borrowers face significantly less favorable terms, including 12 basis points higher loan spreads, approximately 5%$\%$ shorter maturities, and loan sizes ...

Slant submersions from almost paracontact Riemannian manifolds

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2015
In this paper, we introduce slant submersions from almost paracontact Riemannian manifoldsonto Riemannian manifolds. We give examples and investigate the geometry of foliationswhich are arisen from the definition of a Riemannian submersion.

Demonstration of an instream flow model to accommodate a threatened tiger beetle in riverine dune habitat

open access: yesInsect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.
Burrows of the threatened Gibson's Big Sand Tiger Beetle in riverine dune habitats are susceptible to flooding through managed flows. HEC‐RAS modelling identified the flow thresholds above which flooding would occur for burrows and affect the beetle larvae. These findings provide instream flow guidelines for conserving this threatened species and guide

Impact of Ambient Conformal Vector Fields on Yamabe Solitons on Riemannian Hypersurfaces

open access: yesMathematics
We investigate Yamabe solitons on Riemannian hypersurfaces induced by conformal vector fields in Riemannian and Lorentzian manifolds, with an emphasis on the tangential component.

Distribution models of polysphinctine parasitoid wasps (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) reveal sampling bias and flag potentially overlooked host interactions

open access: yesInsect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.
We quantified the geographical overlap between parasitoid wasps and their known host spiders. We could assess which parasitoid species have more limited information about their interactions and are subject to geographical survey bias. We generated sampling bias maps to assist other researchers in identifying where the main sampling gaps are.
