Rhodium Cluster Catalysts Enable Efficient Catalytic Hydroformylation in Mild Conditions: Cluster Size Dependence

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Nanometer‐sized Rh clusters provide a specific reaction environment that facilitates the balanced co‐adsorption of styrene, CO, and H, thereby promoting hydroformylation. ABSTRACT The size of the reactive metal domain, termed an ‘ensemble’, in supported metal catalysts critically influences their catalytic activity.

Molecular glues: Recent advances in cereblon substrate identification and mechanistic insights

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
Molecular glues exert diverse core biological functions by inducing or stabilizing protein–protein interactions, extending far beyond the traditional scope of targeted protein degradation. Key breakthroughs include expanded cereblon substrate recognition, sustained G protein‐coupled receptor megacomplex signaling, and the first orthosteric molecular ...

Dopant‐Induced Bond Strength Polarization Drives High Bidirectional Catalytic Activity in Li–CO2 Batteries

open access: yesSusMat, EarlyView.
Introducing highly active Mn sites onto the Fe3O4 catalyst surface in Li‐CO2 batteries to construct an asymmetric Mn‐O‐Fe bond bridge disrupts the uniform deposition of Li2CO3 on the catalyst surface, thereby enhancing catalytic performance and battery capacity.

Baselining Large Language Model Performance in Systems Engineering Using SysEngBench

open access: yesSystems Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence (AI), large language model s (LLMs) have demonstrated impressive capabilities in generating natural language. However, their proficiency in specialized domains, particularly in the field of systems engineering (SE), remains less explored and unquantified.
