Trace class perturbation of closed linear relations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
This paper studies trace class perturbation of closed linear relations in Hilbert spaces. The concept of trace class perturbation of closed relations is introduced by orthogonal projections. Equivalent characterizations of compact and trace class block operator matrices are first given in terms of their elements, separately.

The effect of diffusive re-equilibration time on trace element partitioning between alkali feldspar and trachytic melts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We present new experimental data on major and trace element partition coefficients between alkali feldspar and trachytic melt. Experiments were conducted at 500 MPa, 870 890 {\deg}C to investigate through short disequilibrium and long near equilibrium experiments the influence of diffusive re-equilibration on trace element partitioning during ...

Beyond digital twins: the role of foundation models in enhancing the interpretability of multiomics modalities in precision medicine

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review highlights how foundation models enhance predictive healthcare by integrating advanced digital twin modeling with multiomics and biomedical data. This approach supports disease management, risk assessment, and personalized medicine, with the goal of optimizing health outcomes through adaptive, interpretable digital simulations, accessible ...

Synergistic neuroprotective effects of thiamine, pyridoxine and cyanocobalamin on the level of human proteome

open access: yesФармакокинетика и Фармакодинамика, 2017
Group B vitamins are characterized by neuroprotective effects. Mechanisms of action of synergistic combinations of various vitamins are insufficiently studied.

An integrative analysis of DNA methylation and transcriptome showed the dysfunction of MAPK pathway was involved in the damage of human chondrocyte induced by T-2 toxin

open access: yesBMC Molecular and Cell Biology, 2022
Background T-2 toxin is thought to induce the growth plate and articular cartilage damage of Kashin-Beck disease (KBD), an endemic osteochondropathy in China.

KCS1 and VIP1, the genes encoding yeast phosphoinositol pyrophosphate synthases, are required for Ca2+‐mediated response to dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Ca2+‐mediated response to DMSO was investigated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells expressing Ca2+‐dependent aequorin. Cell exposure to DMSO induced a cytosolic Ca2+ wave dependent on the integrity of the Cch1/Mid1 channel. Deletion of KCS1 or VIP1 genes encoding the phosphoinositol pyrophosphate (PP‐IP) synthases suppressed the DMSO‐induced Ca2 ...

Spectral characterization of sums of commutators II

open access: yes, 1997
For countably generated ideals, $\Jc$, of $B(\Hil)$, geometric stability is necessary for the canonical spectral characterization of sums of $(\Jc,B(\Hil))$--commutators to hold. This answers a question raised by Dykema, Figiel, Weiss and Wodzicki. There

Source-Specific Health Risk Analysis on Particulate Trace Elements: Coal Combustion and Traffic Emission As Major Contributors in Wintertime Beijing.

open access: yesEnvironmental Science and Technology, 2018
Source apportionment studies of particulate matter (PM) link chemical composition to emission sources, while health risk analyses link health outcomes and chemical composition.

On the number of $N$-free elements with prescribed trace [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
In this paper we derive a formula for the number of $N$-free elements over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$ with prescribed trace, in particular trace zero, in terms of Gaussian periods. As a consequence, we derive a simple explicit formula for the number of primitive elements, in quartic extensions of Mersenne prime fields, having absolute trace zero. We
